1. Overview
Word Cubs is an educational word game for children. It helps players learn vocabulary through picture-based letter-completion and word-writing activities. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Word Cubs mobile application (the App).
The App is designed to work without user registration. We do not ask children to provide a name, email address, phone number, photo, voice recording, precise location, contacts, or payment information to play.
2. Information We Do Not Collect Through Our Own Game Features
The Word Cubs game itself does not collect, store on our servers, or sell the following information:
- Names, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, or home addresses.
- Photos, videos, microphone recordings, contacts, calendar information, or text messages.
- Precise GPS location.
- Account credentials or payment-card information.
- Child profiles, social-media information, chat messages, or user-generated content.
The App has no login system, no social features, no chat, no direct messages, and no account creation.
3. Local Game Data
Word Cubs stores limited gameplay preferences locally on the device using Android app storage. This may include the selected language, sound preference, experience points, streak, and unlocked levels. This local information is used only to make the game work and save progress on that device.
We do not operate a game account or cloud-save service for these data. You can remove local game data by clearing the App's storage in the Android device settings or uninstalling the App.
4. Advertising and Rewarded Ads
The App may display an optional rewarded advertisement after a player loses a round. The advertisement is not shown automatically at app launch or during a question. A player may choose “Extra Chance” to watch an ad in exchange for one additional attempt at the current question. The player can also choose to replay the round or return to the home screen without watching an advertisement.
Advertising is delivered through Google Mobile Ads / AdMob. We configure ad requests for child age treatment and request a maximum ad-content rating of G. We do not intentionally use interest-based advertising or remarketing for children.
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and process certain data to deliver, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising. According to Google's current Mobile Ads SDK disclosure, this can include:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general area.
- Interactions with the App and ads, such as app launches, taps, video views, and ad views.
- Diagnostic and performance information, such as app-launch timing, hang rate, and energy usage.
- Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, app set ID, or other device/account identifiers where applicable.

5. Children's Privacy
Word Cubs is intended for children and families. We take steps intended to support child-appropriate advertising, including using the child age-treatment setting and requesting a G ad-content rating.
If the App is offered to children or users of unknown age, advertising must follow the Google Play Families policies. This includes avoiding personalized advertising, using appropriate advertising technology, presenting child-appropriate content, and avoiding ad formats that interfere with normal gameplay or cause inadvertent clicks.
Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of mobile applications. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us using the details in Section 12 so that we can review the request.
6. Permissions
The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call-log, calendar, storage, Bluetooth, or precise-location permissions.
The Android build may include network and advertising-related permissions supplied by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. These permissions support the loading, display, measurement, integrity, and fraud prevention of optional ads. The App does not use these permissions to access a child's photos, microphone, contacts, or precise GPS location.
7. How Information Is Used
Local gameplay data are used only to maintain the game experience on the device. Advertising-related data processed by Google Mobile Ads may be used for the limited purposes described by Google, such as serving an ad, measuring the ad's performance, maintaining the service, and detecting fraud or abuse.
We do not use the game's local progress data to create advertising profiles, make behavioral advertising decisions, or sell personal information.
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade children's personal information.
The App may share the limited advertising-related information described above with Google Mobile Ads / AdMob when an optional ad is loaded or displayed. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
9. Data Retention and Security
Local game preferences remain on the device until they are cleared by the user or removed with the App. We do not maintain a server-side player account or a central database of player progress.
Data handled by Google Mobile Ads are retained and protected according to Google's applicable policies and service terms. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK are encrypted in transit.
10. International Processing
Google and its service providers may process advertising-related information in countries other than the country where the device is used. Such processing is governed by Google's policies and applicable legal safeguards.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, advertising configuration, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. Any material update should also be reflected in the App's Google Play Data safety answers and store listing where required.
